Dear Parents/Carers

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX APPEAL

Attached is a leaflet explaining this charity.  Mrs Sheila Whittaker from the charity has been in to talk to the children in assembly and has explained how things work.  It is entirely your decision if you would like your child/children to take part in this.  The church is also taking part in this very special appeal along with many other schools in the area.

The filled shoeboxes should be brought into school by Friday 23^rd November where they will be collected by someone from the charity and then sent off to children all around the world.

Dear Parents/Carers

A big thank you to all of you who sent in shoe boxes ’for ‘Operation Christmas Child’, a Samaritan’s Purse Project.  They were collected from school this morning along with shoe boxes from church and will be taken to a warehouse in Hereford where they will make their way to children all around the world.
