About Our School Llangrove School
is set in the heart of the village community of Llangrove, near the
Llangrove CE Primary School offers children an excellent education. In November 2007, the school was praised by Ofsted as being a good school, with some outstanding features. The pupils achieve good academic results, and also benefit from the personalised, holistic education they receive in the environment of a small school. Llangrove is ranked fifth highest in Herefordshire in terms of the progress pupils make between Key Stages 1 (7 years) and 2 (11 years). It has achieved the nationally recognised “Activemark” award for the last two years. The school also offers a wide variety of very well attended daily after-school and breakfast clubs. Our school comprises three classrooms grouped around an open practical area: a hall, music/IT suite, library, changing facilities and toilets. We offer a high level of ICT provision. Each classroom is well resourced, with all classrooms fully networked and having an interactive whiteboard.
Our generous and attractively planted playing field features a “Tarzan Trail” and large wooden musical instruments. The playground is painted with brightly coloured markings which the children use to play a wide variety of games. There is an outdoor classroom for learning for our Foundation Stage and Key Stage one pupils to access. There is also an ecological area with a pond and the school is working towards “Eco School” status. The whole environment of the school provides a wonderful stimulus for learning and play.

Our School Aims
Our aim at Llangrove School is to give all pupils the opportunity to fulfill their potential by providing the encouragement, stimulation and learning environment necessary to ensure that each child leaving our school is as well equipped as he or she possibly can be to succeed in later life. As a school we work in partnership with our parents and community.
Llangrove School is a Church of England Aided School and the Christian Faith provides a framework for the day to day life of the school.
